IIUM Montessori was established in 1998. Formally known as International Islamic Kindergarten, it offers pre-school curriculum for international and Malaysian children aged 4 - 6 years old. Children are nurtured with Islamic qualities and values combined with Montessori methods which enable them to seize the best learning experience at the early age. The method gives the child the best possible conditions to promote physical, social, and emotional development in a prepared environment where the children are helped to achieve their total personality.
In year 2003, IIUM Montessori established its second outlet in Bandar Baru, Bangi. Yearly, there has been significant rise in the enrollment of students. With the total number of 125 students it strive the teachers in providing the best pre-school education with full dedication and professionlism.
IIUM Montessori can accomodate up to 250 students with spacious learning surrounded by natural environment. It offers Montessori curriculum to students aged between 3 1/2 to 5 years old and a bridging class for students aged 6+ with emphasis on three languages (English, Malay and Arabic) in addition to Mathematics, Science and Iqra. Apart from standard curriculum, co-curriculum, educational trips, annual sports day and graduation day are also being conducted for the students.
